Bookings:

What is the Process to Book?
To Book please complete the Booking Enquiry Form.

How do I know if the equipment I want to book is available?
Please contact us with your specific dates and we will inform you of availability.

In order to ensure availability during holiday periods and on weekends we suggest you book ahead.

Where are you located?

Majestic Baby is located in Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207

Are you open Weekends?
Majestic Baby is open for Pickups and Returns during weekends by prior arrangement.

Do you Deliver?
Yes, please note that our couriers do not operate on weekends and therefore hire items will need to be transported the day before and collected the day after.

What Areas can you Deliver To? 
We can delivery to Inner Bayside, Docklands, CBD, South Melbourne, Prahran, South Yarra.  For other suburbs please contact Majestic Baby to discuss. 

Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery fees will be calculated based on travel time, distance and volume.  Please contact Majestic Baby for Delivery & Collection quote.


Hire Items:

What happens when I am finished with my hire equipment?  
Ensure that all items are returned to Majestic Baby at the end of hire.  Please check you have the sunshades and rain covers from prams and strollers, adapters for travel systems, linen sets etc when returning items or leaving for collection.

Lost items will be charged to the client at cost.

What is the process when I check out of hotel? 
Upon Checkout from Hotel please leave equipment with Reception and inform Majestic Baby by SMS, phone or email that equipment is ready for collection.

Effectively equipment is still out on hire until such time it is returned to Majestic Baby.

Is there a cleaning Fee?
Ensure that all items are returned in a clean manner as a cleaning fee will apply to items that are soiled.

Something has broken what should I do?
Notify the Majestic Baby immediately of any items that are damaged or broken whilst on hire so that a replacement items can be organised.

The cost of repair for damaged items will be passed on to the client.

I don’t know how to fold my pram what should I do?
Should you require assistance on how you use a Product the Instruction Manuals can be found on our website or alternatively please contact Majestic Baby. 


Payment Information:

When is Payment due?
Payment for hire will be processed upon pickup or prior to hire.

How can I pay?
Majestic Baby accepts Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Electronic Funds Transfer, Visa & Mastercard Payments. 

Is there a Security Bond?
A Security Bond is required either prior to or upon pickup.  If making payment via Electronic Funds Transfer please provide your account details so that the security bond can be refunded to your account at the end of hire period.

Car Restraints General Information:
Please make yourself familiar with the type of vehicle the car restraint will be fitted to.  The Make/Model and age of the car.

Please make yourself familiar where the anchor point/s are located and if an extension strap may be required.  If you are uncertain please refer to car handbook.

If multiple Car Restraints are required then multiple Anchor Points are required.

In Victoria when traveling by taxi, By law, taxi drivers in do not have to provide child restraints or booster seats. However, they must ensure there is at least one anchor fitting ready for passengers who wish to supply their own. If you can, take your child’s restraint with you.

Children under 1 year do not have to use a child restraint, but they must travel in the back seat.

Children over 1 year should be seated in their own seating position in a taxi, with their own properly fastened seatbelt if no suitable child restraint or booster seat is available in the taxi.
